When I first opened the pages of this book and began to read it, I had every intention of reading, reviewing, and then hosting a giveaway.

But with every page I turned, I became more and more convinced that this was a volume that needed to be added to my personal library. Not just because I really like the elegant cover, but because the content is so applicable to life for both myself and many others. I would am even willing to say that I would recommend this book to anyone.

A Hope And A Future: Overcoming Discouragement is a book about how we all face discouragement at some point in our lives. Even multiple times in life we fall into the pit of discouragement. Pastor Don Wilton takes us beyond the facts of discouragement and into the daily application of rebounding, healing, and moving beyond this overwhelming problem.

Written from personal experience, A Hope And A Future talks about the basic things that add to and even cause our discouragement. Pastor Wilton not only talks about the root problems, but more importantly he addresses how we can overcome them. I really like how Pure Publicity describes this book:

If you are currently dealing with feelings of discouragement, have experiences discouragement in the past, or have not yet dealt with discouragement, I HIGHLY recommend this book for you to read. It is easy to understand and enjoyable to read with many personal stories to illustrate the focus of this book. I will leave you with my favorite quote from page 18 of A Hope And A Future:

"We must ask the Lord to open the eyes of our hearts so that we may see not only our blessings that are on the surface, but also those that are below the surface."
